Refer Someone You Care About

Note: All referrals are confidential. We only contact individuals who have agreed to be referred.

The Other Side

Listening to the Signs:

  • Ongoing anxiety or excessive worry

  • Noticeably slow movements or speech

  • Low energy levels and constant fatigue

  • A constant sense of emptiness or low mood

  • Feelings of guilt, helplessness, or self-blame

  • Thoughts of self-harm, suicidal ideation, or death

  • Withdrawal from social life or routine responsibilities

  • Loss of interest or pleasure in activities once enjoyed

  • Hopelessness, low self-worth, or a pessimistic outlook

  • Persistent feelings of sadness or emotional numbness

  • Changes in appetite or weight without an obvious cause

  • Increased irritability, restlessness, or frequent frustration

  • Trouble concentrating, remembering things, or making decisions

  • Sleep disturbances, including insomnia, early waking, or oversleeping

  • Expressing thoughts about death, experiencing suicidal ideation, or engaging in self-harm

  • Persistent physical issues like headaches, cramps, or digestive trouble that don’t ease with treatment

  • Financial Crisis: Even with low-cost options, affordability can be a barrier.

  • Time Constraints: Busy schedules can make consistent sessions difficult.

  • Too Angry to Begin: Intense emotions may make therapy feel unhelpful or premature.

  • Intimate Partner Violence (IPV): Therapy can increase risk for victims. Individual safety must come first, not relationship repair.

  • Suicidal Ideation or Self-Harming: In crisis, immediate intervention (e.g., helplines, emergency support) is critical before therapy begins.

You may have heard that everyone should go to therapy, but sometimes the timing isn't right. It's okay.
Therapy isn't always emotionally safe, accessible, or affordable. Choosing not to go to therapy right now can be an act of self-respect, not avoidance.

BEGIN YOUR HEALING JOURNEY

Where the Artist Meets the Healer

There is an artist within you.
There is a healer within you.
And in the quiet of creation, they find each other.
Art becomes the language of the unseen - what’s hidden, what’s ready to be released.
You don’t have to force it; just begin, and your heart will follow.
This is where healing starts - with presence, permission, and a return to your forgotten self.
